How I Lost 50 pounds in 5 1/2 months

Hey Sistas! This is a brief video of how I lost 50 pounds in 5 1/2 months. Usually when people gain weight, they aren’t in a happy place and that was the case for me. I wasn’t used to being 190 pounds, especially with my 5’8″ frame. I’m very athletic and my average weight is 140 pounds, so I set a goal to lose 40 pounds and I surpassed it. Some of you may know, I participate in Fitness Bikini competitions, so having that as motivation made my weight loss journey a lot easier. I know it can be difficult to get started, but you have to remove the excuses and just start moving.   1. My biggest problem is I lack the motivation to get off my booty! I used to work out on a regular basis because I was active duty military and now I am in the reserves and only work out around the time to do my physical fitness test. I keep saying I have to work out and I have to get back in shape, but then I never do. I get inspired by ppl and their stories and then nothing…
    I have decided that I have to get out of this rut I am in and get myself healthy again. I am not comfortable in my own skin and I am not even fat-5 feet 0 inches tall and I weigh 130 and wear size 3 and when I tell people that, they think I am lying because Im so small. They say-you cant weigh that much, but I do and I think its all in my gut :( I started a challenge a few months ago and the guys in the store didnt believe my weight but that was right before finals so I never even finished it. I want to become addicted (in a good way) to working out… the “no excuse, Im getting mine in some how type of way”-but getting over this hump Im in is so hard for me! You said its about the kitchen too and that is what I think saves me from being an umpalumpa-not eating all types of crazy food and staying relatively healthy. I am going to try again and this time do things a bit different to make sure they work. Thank you for your video

  3. Hi, please how can I know the percentage of my body fat am 185 pounds and its time for me to shed the weight. My target is 143pounds.

  4. That is wonderfully encouraging! I do cardio kickboxing 4 times a week and Pilates 3 times. I eat 1500 calories a day. My goal is to lose 15 lbs. in 8 weeks. I use my fitness pal app for food tracking calories and follow Tiffany Rothe on you tube for my workouts. We can lose weight. Commit, stay motivated and pray!

  5. Hello beautiful Ladies we all need encouragement and I am each and every one of you guys cheerleader!!!!!! I’m on my weight loss journey also. I started Dec 31, 20016 so I am seven months out and my body feels great. I do muscle isolations every other day and cardio 3 times a week and take one day off from all exercise. I just took me until now to get a routine down pack but I am loving it!!!!! So keep doing what you doing and you will get there Dont Worry!!!!!
