Hey Sistas! This is a brief video of how I lost 50 pounds in 5 1/2 months. Usually when people gain weight, they aren’t in a happy place and that was the case for me. I wasn’t used to being 190 pounds, especially with my 5’8″ frame. I’m very athletic and my average weight is 140 pounds, so I set a goal to lose 40 pounds and I surpassed it. Some of you may know, I participate in Fitness Bikini competitions, so having that as motivation made my weight loss journey a lot easier. I know it can be difficult to get started, but you have to remove the excuses and just start moving.
