Hey Sistas! Here’s my Senegalese Twists tutorial and experience! I know, I know, it took forever, but here’s the video as promised. This style saved my natural hair at the end of the school year! I had soooo much going on, and styling my hair was the last thing on my mind. This was my first time installing these, so please bare with me. I installed these twists using the invisible method and that will help you achieve a more realistic look. And if you like this style, check out Carmen’s Havana Marley twists tutorial.
Step 1: Separate your hair into six sections, twist and apply a hair clip to keep the hair in place
Step 2: Decide how big you want your twists to be and take that amount from your twisted section of hair
Step 3: Split the portion of hair you selected in half and take a piece from your bundle of Kanekalon hair and fold it in half evenly
Step 4: Place the folded Kanekalon hair in the center of the part you created in Step 3
Step 5: Take the left side of the parted section of your hair and the Kanekalon hair and twist that side upwards/backwards, then take the right side and twist it downwards/forward
Step 6: Now take the left side and start two strand twisting your hair down to the end of the shaft
Step 7: Repeat steps 2 – 6 until you have twisted your entire head
