How To: Protect Natural Hair at the Gym

Hey Sistas! It’s important to protect your natural hair to prevent breakage and damage even while working out. In this video, I show you a couple ways I protect my natural hair during my workouts or throughout the day during these cold winter months. My favorite way is by wearing my Slap Cap over my twists.   1. I love this ideal, i never knew it was good to protect your hair while at the gym. I kno now and its a must do for me.

  2. I leave my hair twisted when I workout at the gym but I don’t cover it. I just make sure to oil it with Vitamin E and Olive Oil daily to keep it from drying out. I sweat more if my head is covered and can’t release the heat. Is this okay? It seems to be working so far…..

  3. I but my hair in a twist throw on head scarf an call it a day or a bun as long I have my hair out of my face an my hair is not dry .

  4. I never take my twists out to go to the gym – but also don’t put them in just to go to the gym either. No time, plus that’s too much twitting for me. I live in the gym. But I love that cap under the cap!I need the lined one ASAP.
