My “Awkward Stage” Natural Hair Growth & Color

Hey Sistas! I’m finally growing my natural hair out for once. However, I totally forgot about the in between stage – also known as the “awkward stage” – where my hair never wants to act right, no matter the style I wear, making it hard for me to stay away from scissors. You guys know I love my short hair and the only way I’ve been able to fight the urge to cut it is by adding some color. I colored it blonde initially, but my new hair color is dark red violet/dark purple, and I love it! What do you guys think? Have you colored your natural hair? Let me know in the comments!

  1. My hair never holds a curl but I definitely want to try some color and see how it works. I love the red/burgundy look. Might try it soon.
